Reviews and Ratings <br />
Our stay had its highs and lows. The show and the caves were absolutely fantastic, but sadly, our overall experience at the hotel left much to be desired. The room was adequate, but cleanliness and service, particularly in the restaurant, were significant drawbacks. While we enjoyed the entertainment, the dining and lack of proper housekeeping put a damper on our visit.
The hotel has a beautiful exterior and is perfectly located near the Wookey Hole attractions, making it ideal for families. However, the rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment, and the dining experience was quite underwhelming, with limited breakfast options. The service was decent, but overall, it didn’t quite meet expectations for a cozy getaway.
We had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was great as it was convenient for our visit to the local attractions, and the rooms were spacious and clean. However, the service left much to be desired, especially during breakfast when communication was poor. Overall, it was reasonably priced, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.
My stay at Mendip View Lodges was fantastic! The lodges were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it perfect for a weekend getaway. I particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the lovely kitchen facilities. On the downside, while there were some dining options, I didn’t find them very exciting, and it would have been nice if the restaurant had better offerings. Overall, it was a lovely experience with a few minor drawbacks.
Our family had a fantastic time at the hotel, especially with its unique novelty room and the variety of nearby attractions. The accommodations were comfortable and had ample amenities, which made our stay enjoyable. The dining experience surpassed our expectations, but there were some minor issues with housekeeping in terms of cleanliness. Overall, we loved the family-friendly atmosphere and the value for money during our visit.
